Our August 7th, 2024 meeting will take place at the Brown Lodge (Hard'Ack).
Meetings begin at 5:30pm with a half-hour social and the business meeting is from 6:00-7:00pm. |

We have wonderful news! The Steering Committee recently met to discuss our August 2020 meeting and agreed to host it via Zoom! SO - please mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 11th from 5:30pm until 7:00pm and we will email you additional details in the next few weeks.
At our last meeting in November, the members agreed to continue having the first two new charity nominations be automatically eligible to present at the meeting. The Steering Committee will randomly select from any additional or current nominations for the third presentation. Voting will be done privately over zoom chat (only one member of the Steering Committee will receive the votes).
What do you need to do?

- Invite your friends/neighbors/family to join us by quickly filling out the Membership Form on our web site. They can cancel their membership at any time by sending us an email.
- NOMINATE a charity! During difficult past 6 months we know there are probably many charities in our area that could use a little extra help. Please contact them and ask if they have a project that our collective donation can support . Nominations are due on Sunday, August 2nd.

- Three (3) nominated charities will be selected at random.
- The members who nominated those three (3) charities will each have up to five (5) minutes to present their charity to the group (no PowerPoint or collateral materials, please). A five (5) minutes question and answer time will follow each presenter.
- Members will submit their anonymous ballot and the votes are tabulated.
- While the ballots are counted, the charity that received the funds from the previous meeting will be asked to tell the group how their donations were/will be used within the organization.
- The charity with the most votes is announced.
- Checks are written by each member to the selected charity. Remember to bring a check!
- A simple concept. A big impact.
